Local Transportation

The Telluride community is comprised of two locations – the Town of Telluride and the Town of Mountain Village. The destination is very “walker friendly” since the two towns are connected by a free, pedestrian gondola that runs from 7 a.m. to midnight. Once you arrive here you’ll find that most lodging is ski-in/ski-out or just a short walk to the slopes. Plus, the shopping and dining of both Telluride and Mountain Village are in close proximity to lodging. Many guests find that having a rental car is not necessary in Telluride.

If you don’t want to walk about town, a free shuttle service is available as well.

Most visitors choose to park their car at their hotel or condo for the duration of their visit. If parking is not available at your accommodation, there are nine public parking options in Telluride and Mountain Village. Please inquire when booking your accommodation if parking is included in the price.
